About the Orion Cinema Recliner
The fabric cinema seat. Sage green chenille, dense and low-pile, with a metal-rimmed cup holder in the top of each arm and a control panel inside the right one carrying two buttons, a USB-A and a USB-C port. The back is made in three padded segments; two seams run the length of the seat and continue onto the footrest. The arms are as deep as the seat frame, which is what makes it sit heavy and level.

How it is made
- Frames are built from plywood and engineered wood, with metal where a piece needs it, such as a recliner's mechanism.
- Frames are joined with glue and screws, and with mortise and tenon joints.
- Seats sit on sinuous steel springs, or on the recliner's own mechanism.
- Cushions are high-density and high-resilience foam, some with a memory foam layer, wrapped in fibre or feather.
