The shape is settled first.
Padding can be added to anything and taken back from nothing. We fix the geometry of a piece before deciding what goes over it, so what holds you up is the frame rather than the filling.

The drawing does not leave the building.
Design and manufacturing are one operation here, not two companies exchanging files. A detail that does not work is changed by the people who found it, on the day they found it.

A catalogue this size is only worth publishing if the last piece off the floor is built the way the first one was.

Each piece is built in one upholstery, chosen for that piece rather than picked off a chart. It is what you touch every day, and it is what a photograph is worst at showing.
The workshop
SIDCUL, Haridwar.
Every piece is made at our own facility in Uttarakhand. Owning the floor is slower to set up than buying in, and it is much harder to fake.
