Warranty policy

Effective

In short

Every piece is covered against faults in materials and workmanship, for the periods in clause 1, from the day it is delivered, and the cover stays with the piece. Tell us about a fault with your order number and photos, and we repair it, or replace the part or the piece, at no cost to you. Wear, accidents and misuse are not covered.

1. What the warranty covers

1.15 years on the frame, 3 years on recline mechanisms, 1 year on motors and electrics, and 1 year on foam and stitching. It covers faults in materials and workmanship, not wear, fading, spills or misuse.

1.2A fault in materials or workmanship is a defect present in the piece as we delivered it, or one that develops from such a defect in normal household use, such as a frame joint that loosens or breaks, a spring or mechanism that fails, or stitching that comes apart.

1.3The warranty runs from the day your piece is delivered.

1.4It stays with the piece. If you move house or pass the piece on, whoever has it can claim with the original order number.

1.5It covers pieces used in a home in India. A piece used in a business, such as an office, a hotel, a restaurant or a rental home, is covered only if we agreed that in writing before you ordered.

2. What the warranty does not cover

2.1The warranty does not cover:

  1. (a)normal wear and tear, including fabric pilling, creasing and softening, and cushions and upholstery that soften and settle with use;
  2. (b)fading or discolouring from sunlight or other strong light, or from heat;
  3. (c)damage from damp, moisture, water or humidity, or from placing the piece against a damp wall;
  4. (d)spills, stains and marks, and damage from cleaning with a method or product we did not advise;
  5. (e)scratches, tears, chewing and soiling by pets, and cuts, burns and other accidental damage;
  6. (f)misuse, such as standing, jumping or sitting on arms or backs, overloading, or forcing a recline mechanism;
  7. (g)damage while the piece is moved, stored or reassembled after delivery, other than by us;
  8. (h)a piece that has been repaired, altered or taken apart by anyone other than us or someone we have asked to do it;
  9. (i)natural variation in materials, and differences within the tolerances in our Terms and Conditions;
  10. (j)damage in delivery, which comes under the cancellation and refund policy, with its own time limits.

2.2How to look after each material, so wear stays wear, is in help. Before you clean a mark or treat a spill, tell us which piece you have and ask what is safe to try on it.

3. How to claim

3.1Call us on +91 97611 41376 or email company@furblowcraft.com with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or a short video that show it.

3.2We reply with what we think is wrong and how we will put it right. Sometimes we need to see the fault first, on a video call, or by a visit from our team at a time that suits you.

3.3Please tell us about a fault soon after you notice it, and stop using the part affected if using it could make the fault worse. Do not try to repair it yourself or have anyone else repair it.

4. How we put it right

4.1We repair the fault or replace the faulty part. Where neither is possible, we replace the piece. If the piece has to come to the workshop, we collect it and bring it back at our cost.

4.2If an identical part or fabric is no longer available, we use the closest equal or better one, and tell you before we do.

4.3A repair or a replacement does not restart the warranty: the original period carries on from the first delivery. A part or piece we replace becomes ours.

5. The warranty and the law

5.1To the extent the law permits, repair, replacement or refund under this warranty and under our cancellation and refund policy are the remedies for a defect in a piece, and our liability is limited as our Terms and Conditions set out.

6. Your rights

6.1This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and nothing in it limits them.
